
Medical Camp Report
Ntungamo District – 29th August to 1st September 2025
1. Introduction
From the 29th of August to the 1st of September 2025, Momo Cancer Foundation, together with our dedicated partners, conducted a successful medical camp in Ntungamo District. The camp aimed at improving community health through general diagnosis, provision of medicines, cancer screening, and promoting environmental conservation through tree planting.
2. Attendance
A total of 353 people turned up for the medical camp.
- General health diagnosis was conducted for all attendees.
- Medicines were provided to those who were found unwell.
- 101 people underwent cancer screening for breast, cervical, and prostate cancers.
- Tree seedlings were distributed to participants to promote environmental and community health.
3. Activities Carried Out
a) General Health Services
- Medical consultations and checkups
- Provision of medicines to patients in need
b) Cancer Screening
- Breast cancer screening
- Cervical cancer screening
- Prostate cancer screening
c) Environmental Conservation
- Distribution of tree seedlings to participants as part of our greening initiative
d) Community Health Strengthening
- Donation of remaining medicines to Ntungamo Health Center III

5. Recognition of Partners
As a token of our gratitude, we presented our partners with Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their invaluable support towards this noble cause.
6. Impact and Outcome
- 353 people benefited from free health services and medicines.
- One hundred one people were screened for cancer, increasing awareness and promoting early detection.
- Over hundreds of tree seedlings were distributed, contributing to environmental health.
- Ntungamo Health Center III received medicines to continue serving the community beyond the camp.
7. Conclusion
The Ntungamo Medical Camp was a resounding success, bringing together healthcare, cancer awareness, and environmental sustainability initiatives. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our partners, volunteers, and the Ntungamo community for making this event a memorable and impactful one.
